I've had some very beneficial results from a Hale Clinic medically trained doctor & homeopath Dr McManners - it depends on the practitioner - it completely changed my view of homeopathy. And I recently saw this http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18575720 and have heard similar stories from Indian doctors many times.

Hey I'm a NHS GP... Afraid to say not much is covered on the NHS-- apart from some acupuncture and maybe hydro therapy etc etc.... It's not looking to get better.... Dr Jayne Donegan is a GP/ homeopath.... I am too (don't want to plug my business) but have a look at www.thebespokedoctor.com You'll definitely find people- but they most likely won't be cheap.... As its not approved by the UKs governing bodies it's unlikely any insurance company will offer you a plan either I'm afraid... If you google "functional medicine doctors".... Though we're all pretty much anti vax we can't unfortunately advertise that....hope that helps xx
Abi B. replied:
I know of a few people who have managed to get referred for homeopathic treatment on the NHS, but think it is becoming more difficult. In terms of health plans that cover homeopathy there are a number of companies that offer this: http://www.homeopathy-soh.org/about-homeopathy/health-insurance-to-fund-your-treatment. We use Westfield Health and Simply Health seem to be well thought of. Can't recommend anyone in South Croydon as I'm based in Yorkshire. You could have a look on www.findahomeopath.org.

Naturopath (ND) recommendation? Have you had positive experiences with a naturopath in London?
Please share your recommendations. He or she must be an ND.

When you're ready to see a doctor, I'd be happy to recommend one. In the meantime, if you have money to spare, please consider donating to a local charity. I made donations yesterday (Giving Tuesday) to the Canadian Mental Health Association and Ronald McDonald House. Take a look at them.

I'll just leave this here: https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/tag/naturopathy-vs-science/ At the end of the day, do what you want; but just be sure you're aware of what you're paying for.

Went to one in Woodstock when I was a teen because my mom thought that introducing a new "energy frequency" to my body through certain points on my skin could cure an anaphylactic allergy... don't waste your money on these quacks.

Wow. The ignorance shown in these replies demonstrates a total lack of knowledge of health care today. Dr. Bob Dronyk at London West Health Centre is probably the most experienced Naturopath in the city. http://londonwesthealthcentre.com/
