I think my cat has a kidney problem- anyone know of a good vet in the Roseville/Rocklin area?

I know it's his kidneys. He's got all the symptoms and he's 14. I want a Vet that won't trump up cost to treat him (like unnecessary tests, etc). I know tests help dx, but i also know that if you're good at what you do, and do it for the animal & not just money, you'll figure it out with the least cost (same goes for human doctors). I know that there are a few around here that do take advantage. I've heard sketchy things about Loomis Basin before, but if there's 3 of you here that use them & are happy, then I'll take my old man there. I'm just scared because the research I've read is back/forth about high/low protein & phosphorous levels. He's my rock.
Hi! Looking for recommendations for a local veterinarian specializing in ruminants. We have goats and prefer a mobile vet. Thank you in advance!

I called a lot of people- Loomis Basin Vet doesn't see goats, but Loomis Equine does! You can take them in or they charge a mobile fee. Left a message with Robin Skillman and Samia Macon. UCD Large Animal also sees goats but has no mobile services.

He looks well groomed--maybe the people at Top Notch Groomers might know who he belongs to.
