Iso: a vet that will come out to my house or a park to euthanize my dog so he could be more comfortable instead of a cold vet's office. :'(
Erica K. replied:
http://mobilevetsacramento.com/ Dr. Beeman is wonderful. He came out to euthanize our cat. Very sorry you have to go through this.

Looking for vet that does cat teeth cleaning and tooth surgery My cat needs her teeth cleaned and my local VCA is quoting me $1200-$1500 total for lab work, anesthesia,...
Rangermice replied:
Family friends animal clinic in Citrus Heights is very reasonably priced
Jinxie1973 replied:
Just ask the VCA to send the referral.
HelpfulPuppydog replied:
VCA is a national chain, and super expensive (lots more people in the food chain). You might have to get some referrals for independent vets and spend on some introductory exams before you find a vet you like at a price point you can afford. I had my dog's teeth cleaned last year (85 lb German Shepherd-style mutt), no extractions, for around $500 last fall. I don't know why a
Bagginz_on_foot replied:
My cat had a very similar cleaning and procedure it sounds like. I can't remember the exact price, but I don't recall it being over $1000. I take her to Campus Commons Pet Hospital on Fair Oaks Blvd. It's in the shopping center just west of Loehmans Plaza. They are pretty reasonable there. Nothing but positives from me.

Sac Pet Vet (Dr. Ghuman) did a sedation and removal of a resorbed tooth in my cat a couple years ago. No complaints. I assume they still do it. I don't know their current prices.
uhauljoe- replied:
Try Banfield!! Last year one of my cats got sick and passed away, and the other followed a month and a half later. Banfield was AMAZING in terms of care given and their level of compassion, our vet cried with us when we put our first cat down. I can't remember exact numbers but I KNOW they're cheaper than that.
ouisseau replied:
East Sac Vet Center, my dog resorbs her teeth and I’ve been taking her to Dr Collins for years. He does a phenomenal job. It’s still not cheap, but $1200 is the higher end of what I’ve paid when we were dealing with surgical extraction (not normal extraction).
Hi all,
Any recommendations for a vet. We just got a 10 week old shih tzu. We live in the Rollingwood Duplexes. So OV or Folsom would be great.
Thank you,
Chuck
