Every agency needs finance managers for billing. You would be around the world of advertising but not in it. Otherwise, like someone else said, planning or buying.

So, um, have you just tried googling: la advertising agencies Because I just did that really quick through a few proxies, and the top three results across the board were lists of various LA ad agencies.

From what I have seen, smaller agencies tend to have maybe 1 or 2 on their finance teams even bigger agencies tend to use smaller teams of 5-6. Demand is there though, you probably just have to look hard enough. Might be easier to find a job at a media agency rather than a creative shop.

We have a finance team of 3 to support the entire account I work on which is one of the largest in the entire network. So there is a need, but it's a very small amount of the work force. I would start your research at the holding company level and work your way down to the individual agencies. Look into WPP, Omnicom, Publicis, Interpublic, and Dentsu. The wikipedia pages for each have a list of all their respective agencies, and I think they all have a presence in Los Angeles. As mentioned, Creative Ham is a good resource to find agencies, too.
