https://www.facebook.com/130110550371068 Hwang's Martial Arts on Preston has an amazing summer camp program. The kids learn taekwondo everyday and they do field trips twice a week. The field trips are different throughout the summer. Through martial arts the kids are also learning confidence, respect, and self control. My daughter takes taekwondo at Hwangs and loves it. We did summer camp for a few weeks last summer and she's begging to go this year. I'm not sure of the cost each week this summer but you can call 502-966-5222 and someone will gladly give you the info.

Here is the alcohol usage policy for Mammoth Cave here in KY: http://www.nps.gov/maca/parkmgmt/alcohol_policy.htm And here are the administrative policies for the Big South Fork, which again does prohibit alcohol usage in some public areas such as buildings and the pool at Bandy Creek Campground but not at individual camp sites: http://www.nps.gov/biso/upload/BISO-2012-Compendium.pdf

Laurel Lake, near Corbin is by far my favorite lake, great campsites, great geological features, and the swimming is top notch, super clean water. Freindly Rangers if you ever see one.
Douglas D. replied:
Try Bandy Creek Campground which is part of the Big South Fork National Recreation Area. Its about 3 hours from here. Even during the nicest of weekends the campground isnt that full. And as far as I can see from their website they dont have any rule making alcohol off limits. I know I have had the occasional beer there while camping. http://www.nps.gov/.../planyourv.../bandycreekcampground.htm

Jackie, there are several web sites that offer services to try and find out info about your relative. Start here http://www.worldwar1.com/dbc/gen_faq.htm I don't have any individual information on the soldiers. There were 120K + men that went through the camp. Ken M

You might have a little bit of luck here too. http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/agency/army/usachcs.htm Since your Grandfather was a Chaplain, he may have been at Camp Zachary Taylor for the Chaplain's School that was conducted there in 1918. It was the second location for it after it was organized on Feb 9 th, 1918. The above link will give you more information about it, and it's History. Ken M

Help Campers... We just got cancelled out for our camping weekend tomorrow at Elkhorn in Frankfort. Looking for a fishing spot to camp this weekend! Suggestions please....
Megan D. replied:
Camp Carlson in Fort Knox if you wanna just fish. If you wanna camp try Laurel branch at rough river. 22$ a night at the lot. Those are the only two spots I can catch anything.
Matt M. replied:
I was at Rough River earlier in the week and the lake is very muddy, due to all the rain and fishing was not good. Nolin is probably better. I don't think they has as much rain. Check this site out for lake info -http://lrl-apps.lrl.usace.army.mil/rrl/
