Hello ladies! Can I ask a question or two? I've been at the Y at Norton Commons for just over a year now. I love Yoga with Kelly and it's at a time that works for me....
Angela T. replied:
You should really talk with Lauren Dawson (cardio fit teacher), Dotty, or Heather. Any of these ladies would be able to give you the best things to do for your body at your current level!! When you drop off the kiddos in Kids Club, I would be happy to introduce you to any of them:)
Rebecca C. replied:
I would recommend Body Pump. You can choose the weight level that's right for you, and it's broken out so you can only do as much as you're comfortable with. Janelle, who does the Mon and Fri noon class gives new folks the chance to leave after part of the class. It's my very favorite of the classes I've tried
Lauren K. replied:
Body Pump definitely! Or the book Thinner Leaner Stronger
Beth W. replied:
Kim Schulte Postema does the 9:30 am Monday and Friday body pump. She is wonderful! Dottie's 10 am Tuesday/Thursday muscle definition is. Good starter too.
Looking around for various health professionals. How do you, personally, go about finding services (herbalist, acupuncturist, personal trainer, yoga studio ) locally?
Chelsea P. replied:
Rachel Foster may know.
Laree A. replied:
Kim Upton has been an invaluable resource for this

After almost a year of doing the Insanity workouts, I decided to switch it up... The past month has consisted of hot yoga and the Tracy Anderson Method mat workout...
Rebecca M. replied:
Erin Craft.. Betsys hot yoga in st matthews. I got a 30 day unlimited package. It was $39 for new students. I probably won't continue bc it's too expensive. I'll probably get a bunch of DVDs
