I recommend https://www.facebook.com/160089097802 Puppy, Please! Dog Training, LLC . Jess, the trainer is wonderful and she not only has a way with dogs, but she also has a way with people. Many of her clients are still her friends years later. I used her myself for my dog aggressive dog when I needed to move to a place where other dogs already lived. I thought there was NO WAY my dog could ever accept living around other dogs but with Jess's help and lots of work, we have happily lived in a 3 dog household for the last 3 years. I have also watched her work with dogs with serious anxiety issues. She does group and private classes.

Jean Donaldson's Academy for Dog Trainers is a wonderful course. It will provide you with the education and tools to become a force free trainer. Students also receive a tremendous amount of support from Jean and many experienced trainers in the group.

I like the PDTI course (if you're in the UK) they have levels for beginners through to advanced, discuss the appropriate ways to teach and you learn various methods on the course. They also are working with Harper Adams university on their canine behaviour and training diploma (level 5) which includes in its modules loads of academic theory and practical assessments as instructors. www.pdti.org. They have a fantastic support network and encourage learning and peer talk.
Wonderful Article coming from a reputable dog trainer & owner of a doggy daycare!! With knowledge and many years of experience with dogs of all breeds!!
