To better answer your question - Barr Camp sells freeze dried dinners and they normally boil the water for you. You could double check with them to make sure this is still accurate.

If you can move your plans up one day and summit on Friday, it will be a more enjoyable experience. The Pikes Peak Marathon will cause the same traffic jam (except worse, because runners go both up and down) on Sunday.

No Name Creek, just above the 3 mile mark, is the first water source. I don't know that I'd get water there though:-) There are a other places before you get to Barr Camp.
