Hi Vashon. We have a cat who it seems can't walk all of a sudden. Can anyone recommend a good vet? One that may be open today? Haven't had to go since we got her.

We got referred to one in Tacoma by Fair Isle: 253-474-0791. They were very good and even open during the snowpocalypse of 2010.

Oh no there is only one on the island right now. Fair Isle 463-3607

Here's another after-hours vet to which Fair Isle may refer you http://criticalcarevets.com good luck with your cat.
Would love a recommendation for a veterinarian in the Maple Valley/Covington/Black Diamond area...someone who is really good with kitties. Thanks!

We take our animals to Country Animal Hospital in Enumclaw. We are on a fixed income and they provide the best service at a great price. It's worth the drive.
FB Friends - we have been asked for vet recommendations in the Southcenter area. Family that has adopted a smaller (20 pounds) dog. If you have personal experience...

Hi...Acess is supposed to be good which is by Ikea. have a vet close to me called Priceless Pet Clinic...first visit is free. Great vets. I would not recommend VCA in Burien.
I'm thinking about supplementing Jack with glucosamine/chondroitin. Anyone have suggestions on good ones and bad ones. He's 10 yrs old and 55lb agility dog that thinks...
Rebecca F. replied:
This is the best one I know of. Best because it's from a company with ZERO recalls, and best because it includes more than just glucosamine/chondroiton. Also MSN and hyaluronic acid, which are also essential for joint health. http://www.lifesabundance.com/Pets/Supplements/Agility.aspx?realname=20021662
Anja D. replied:
Instead of Gluco/chondr I am giving NuVet and GlycoFlex600 mg, with outstanding results. NuVet has antioxidents and other needed supplements, the ingredients in GF600 can regrow cartilage (you give it only as long as your little ones needs it and than stop until he needs it again. First round maybe 8-12 weeks, all following rounds maybe only 3-4 weeks), Gluc/Chond can only slow down the degeneration, since they can not fix it, they are considered a life time supplement. Both NuVet & GlycoFlex are human grade
Does anyone know any good dog groomers? Not petsmart, because they always say rude comments to my mother.
And a good vet that does shots for cheap.
And if anyone wants...
Liza M. replied:
I'm not sure about grooming, but Rainier Beach Veterinary Hospital is awesome and very inexpensive for shots and the like. My family's pets have been going there since I was little.
