Dr Orr at Crawford Long Emory Midtown. Expensive and they play The Fish in their office but very thorough. I had massive infection behind the eye socket that he had to clear up and openned up passage.

We used Dr Burton as well. She's also an allergist so she can address some issues from an allergy side, and treat non surgically where possible. Prior to finding her, we used Dr Golde but he left the practice and I'm not sure where he moved.

I go to John Chastain ... have not had to use him for tubes but I think he is great and I heard he is great with tubes. He is partnered with two Dr.'s also recommended .. Parks and Vick so it's a great practice. Also, Vick is married to Terry Mitchell who went to Marietta. I don't know how old she is but she was between you and me in age.

We saw Dr Whitley at Pediatric ENT (across the street from CHOA). I am that mom that's a pain in the ass and asks a million questions. I did NOT want my dd (2 at the time) to have her tonsils/adenoids. After checking, testing, making sure it was absolutely necessary, we went ahead with the surgery. He is very conservative in diagnosing, which I liked!

Thanks everyone! I was just told that Anna needs her tonsils and adenoids out and obviously I am very nervous about surgery for my sweet 5 yr old. We just went to Pediatric ENT of Atlanta and I didn't get the best feeling....we saw Dr. Bauer. He was nice enough, but they just didn't seem to cater to kids which was surprising since they are pediatric. We will def be getting a second and maybe third opinion.....

Seb had his tubes put in by Dr. Bauer of pediatric ENT Atlanta and Seb did great. Bella had tubes, tonsils and Adenoids out at 5 by Dr. Burton of Atlanta kids ENT, I believe, and she was great, too! I was very nervous, following the pediatric aftercare instructions is really the most important!! REST, REST,REST:-)
