Robin S. replied:
The Dr we used is Guy Gunter at 404-255-3110 at 5150 Roswell Rd Atlanta GA 30342-2208. He's so good we nicknamed him to ourselves as the witch Dr because he always knows what's wrong with you and what's causing it which can sometimes be an emotional issue not physically related at all and may surprise you. It is the mind body relationship as it relates to your health.

Dealt with Resurgeons once...not impressed. Several years ago my mom cracked a couple of vertebra in her back. After her fall, we took her in to the ER at Kennestone. The orthopedist that saw her then was on staff at Resurgeons. He gave us a diagnosis, and they ended up admitting her until they could perform surgery. Well nothing progressed...it was one delay after another, and my mother was laid up in Kennestone all of this time. Come to find out, this orthopedist that was treating her was not "licensed" to operate at Kennestone (not sure if that is the right terminology or not) and wanted to operate at Cartersville Medical Center. Now I am sure they are a fine facility, but we knew nothing about the hospital, and it was just too far to drive several times a day to check in on her. We asked that another surgeon perform the procedure, but nothing ever moved forward. Two months later, another doctor on staff at Kennestone came in to mothers room to check on her. He was with Pinnacle. He was so incredibly nice and knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions that the other doctor had not been able to. We ended up going with him and Pinnacle and got my mothers surgery scheduled and completed in just a few days. Unfortunately that doctor with Pinnacle is no longer on their staff, but I was impressed with the whole operation.

Dr Robert Kelly
Carol V. replied:
May be an unpopular comment...but skip Kennestone altogether. Go to Dr. Reuben Sloan at Resurgens St. Joseph's - (404) 213-4209. He's an MD physiatrist who specializes in non-surgical relief from back and neck pain. (All Resurgens are not equal. They bought practices all over the metro area, so there is a huge difference in the quality of care. I know this from personal experience.) He has done 6 or 7 epidurals for me. Dr. Kress there also replaced both knees!
Kadriye C. replied:
