Looking for an ENT (ear nose throat doctors). Any recommendations? Also still looking for a place that does Sports/Medical massage. Thanks
Valerie K. replied:
Let me ask a friend about sport massages and her availability. She does them privately for local professional athletes. Would be ok to travel to Pittsburgh or have her in your home? Allegheny General Hospital has an excellent ENT department. Not sure if they have satellite locations in the North Hills though. I've seen Dr. McElwaine in Seven Fields.
Aleta H. replied:
If you have Highmark, I went to The Wexford Pavillion and saw Dr. Gottleib. Quiet guy but doesn't mess around. I believe he works out of AGH as well.

Dr Pollock ...Metropolitanm ENT in Wexford 724-772-2711
Kristine H. replied:
Dr. Post at the Health and Wellness Pavilion, he did my sons tubes and was wonderful.
Jill P. replied:
Dr Farrell Buchinsky is amazing. He explains everything in detail and you feel you are his only patient. He gives you options as well as what he believes is best. He looked at one of my kids for a collapsing windpipe and another for tubes in ears.
Marc L. replied:
Dr. David Chi or any of the ENT docs at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Children’s couldn’t see my son for 9 weeks. We called Metro ENT and we were seen the next week. We also got tubes put in the following week. We would still be waiting if we stayed with Children’s.
Linda S. replied:
Dr. Blaugrund has a 10 star rating from me. 724-772-2711.
In need of excellent ENT who takes highmark insurance. Thanks in advance.
Bobbi K. replied:
Dr. Scott Celin in Wexford
Kristen B. replied:
Allyson---Dr. Celin is great---put tubes in two of my kids ears years ago---just took my daughter last week to discuss removal of tonsils due to recurring strep throat------I will tell you that as of July 1 st he won't be able to take Highmark patients due to the UPMC split----because we have Highmark Insurance and he told me after July 1 st he would have to recommend someone else to us
Amy B. replied:
Unfortunately, Dr Celin's office is now owned by UPMC! If you are looking for a pediatric ent Dr. Chi is fantastic!
Jennifer G. replied:
Dr. Welker/Yost in Butler are really good if for adult not sure if they see kids or if they take highmark. I take my son to Dr. McGuire out of children's so I know that doesn't help with insurance.
Stacie M. replied:
Dr. Chi, pediatric ent--he's terrific!
Jennifer G. replied:
Dr. McGuire is with Chi and they are both amazing we have seen both
Does anyone have any recommendations for a local Pediatric ENT that takes UPMC insurance? TIA
Bonnie K. replied:
Metropolitan ENT! Dr. Celin was amazing with my son.
Courtney S. replied:
I second Dr. Maguire at Children's. Did my daughter's ear tubes and addenoidectomy.
Donna G. replied:
Dr Raymond Maguire at CHP wexford!
Megan L. replied:
My son had tubes put in and adnoids out today at children's north by Dr. Tobey. The entire experience was fantastic. Dr. Tobey has an excellent bedside Manor and the entire team at children's went out of their way to make my son (and us) comfortable.
Mary N. replied:
Metropolitan ENT. My son had Dr. Jones. We loved him!
Danielle W. replied:
Dr Chi at Children's North! My daughter just had surgery a few weeks ago and recovered so well.
Pediatric ENT recommendations that's not a 1-3 month wait to get in? My poor guy has now finished his third round of antibiotics.
Debbie B. replied:
Dr McElwain at UPMC ENT in Seven Fields did my son's ear tubes and removed his tonsils/adenoids due to chronic infections. We were very happy with her.
