Anyone have any recommendations for Italian restaurants. It's a thank you dinner for a staff member that is leaving so no need to be super fancy.
Thanks.
Would anyone know any restaurants, with an outside terrasse, that will allow us to bring our 10 pounds maltese dog with us?

Tony F. replied:
Actually Gary Payne we did but it was solely dependent on the dog and the attitude of the pet owner. We had a regular customer who of all things owned a German Shepard. The dog never made a sound and it peacefully lay under the table at it's owner's feet. Never a problem for us or our other diners. Although our front patio was open the the street I considered it an inside space because we have a roof. It certainly wasn't a sidewalk cafe. We also brought water for the dog albeit in a special plastic doggie bowl. We had a number of other folks that dined with mostly small dogs. There were a number of times I did politely decline services to those with dogs simply because the vibe wasn't right. I have 5 Huas and I might add that I have never taken any of them out to dinner with me. I did however take my Pancho to Stone Island with me for lunch at Dallas's place. Pancho was a perfect gentleman.

Tony's or Chili Peppers on the beach also allow dogs.
Anyone know if there is a restaurant that has a celiac safe gluten free menu? Eating at home is easy but it would be nice to have a safe meal out as well.

Linda Diane Lee does gluten free menu! She is well known with Nursing background. Very good references too!
Susan T. replied:
Celiac safe means a completely different work area where there is no possibility of cross contamination. Linda Lee does great stuff but she cooks with a LOT of wheat.

Is there a Vietnamese restaurant in Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta or Guadalajara that anyone knows of?
I've got a massive craving for some Phò.

Zab Thai food, behind Lucky B’s delicious
Carlos C. replied:
Salem, while it is not exactly Pho, the Waters Edge has a mostly Asian menu at the moment, and has some Vietnamese and other noodle dishes you will enjoy. I have had all three of the following, and each was excellent: 1) Vietnamese Noodles Salad with the Pork option. This is a soup- great for lunch 2) The "Ramen" noodle dish. This is similar to the dish above, but has more ingredients, including avocado, and is larger- great for dinner 3) Hot and Sour Soup. Not exactly like any other Hot and Sour Soup I have had previously, but EXCELLENT nonetheless. The menu can be seen in the link below: https://www.facebook.com/WatersEdgeBistro/app/117784394919914/
