My daughter Ensley sees Dr Dimmitt At children's and Ensley had to have a fundoplication because she kept throwing up after everything we did. It's not as bad as it sounds. She hasn't threw up again since then

Dr. Mastre in Birmingham. All 3 of mine have went to him. I'm thinking Brady is going to have what Colton had. The flap that covered his esophagus and prevented food from coming back up wasn't fully grown yet. Dr. Mastre put him on this medicine called bethenachol and it worked wonders!

Sam's reflux did improve once we found the right combination of medication. Most kids outgrow it but my boys still battle reflux. The Dr. Said family history plays a big part in it. I remember Sam as a baby having projectile vomiting and he cried the first 7 months of his life unless he was sleeping:( Just hang in there. Oh and just so you know it doesn't get ant better when they're older. The doctors still have a hard time diagnosing them.
