Counseling/Therapists in Mckinney, TX

In case you haven't heard, my DH and I were in a motorcycle accident 11.5 weeks ago, and our ODS isn't handling things well. His dr recommended play therapy for him, but I'm having a hard time finding someone who does play therapy for his age. Contact the UNT Center for Play Therapy. They've done some awesome work in the area. If you can't make it there they would certainly know the best place to send you. ;) http://cpt.unt.edu/

The Center for Play Therapy at UNT in Denton is the best in the world! Literally. I am a student there working on my master's and just took my first play therapy class last semester. They also have a location in South Dallas at the Dallas campus. However, they can refer you to a great play therapist in your area. Check out the website for the association for play therapy and you can search for a registered play therapist in your area. Www.a4 pt.org

My husband recommended 'Filial Therapy' which he tells me is family play therapy. He is a psychology student.

Dr Carl Schiff. Maimonides medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. My son was being seen by a rhuematologist for years and she never diagnosed him. Two days and Dr. Schiff had a diagnosis.. This man Is a Godsend.
