Looking for a new OBGYN to go to mine is retiring. Suggestions for Southaven or Memphis are welcome.
Lauren M. replied:
Dr Elaine Thompson at MOGA Southaven. She an excellent doc. I have seen her for about 5 years now and she delivered both my babies!! 349-5554
Elizabeth W. replied:
Dr Diane Long at Ruch Clinic is amazing. Delivered Kendall but I went to her before that. They are all good there though.
Mary S. replied:
McDonald Murmman Women's Clinic in Germantown is wonderful. It's all women doctors and I love it
LeAnna H. replied:
My OB-GYN is Dr Elizabeth Mann. I really like her, but she stays busy. She's with MOGA in G'town and Baptist Women's. I usually see a APN for yearly's and MOGA has lots of good ones, my fave is Linda Childers. If you prefer a male Dr, Cory Tinker with MOGA is good too!!
Nicole A. replied:
Dr. Andrea Giddens and her husband are amazing!! I see her and work there. I think she would be a great fit for you!! Call me and I can schedule you!
Debbie H. replied:
I guess I'll show my age - Diana long delivered Amanda and Dr Robert Ruch delivered my 2 oldest daughters - Ruch Clinic has always had a great reputation! Wish they had a office down here!
Amanda P. replied:
McDonald Murmanns Womens clinic is where I go as well, Dr. Mary McDonald is my doctor.
Andrea G. replied:
Dr Denbo at Adams Patterson is wonderful! Any doctor at that practice is wonderful, in fact!
Jeremy B. replied:
Lindsey goes to Dr. Neblett out at Mid South OBGYN. She really likes him a lot.
Misty M. replied:
I love Dr. Kumar at MOGA Southaven. I had my doubts about him at first, but after having Leighton I decided he was wonderful. P.S. I would really consider having a doctor in Southaven, bc when you and Wes decide to have " baby pounds" those monthly, bi-weekly, and weekly appointments take a lot less time when live really close and don't have to fight traffic.
Heather F. replied:
I go to Andrea Giddens at baptist east women's. I really like her.
Amanda P. replied:
She's with MidSouth Obgyn in Germantown
Carolyn K. replied:
I go to Dr. Tonkin with AdamsPatterson and really like her.
Does anyone know of a good obgyn doctor in memhis who accepts tenncare? The united healthcare community plan
Audrey H. replied:
Dr Culbreth she's awesome
Britney S. replied:
Dr. Patterson does accept tenncare though? I have united healthcare community plan
Madison L. replied:
But another bad thing about Culbreths hospital is I was in horrible back labor it took them 3 hours to get me my epidural and they would not give me anything for pain. It was miserable and my contractions were going off the charts about a minute apart I was in full blown labor when I arrived. It actually wasn't her because she wasn't there but just that hospital. She later apologized that they didn't request pain meds for me. It was terrible. My son was natural and my contractions or labor wasn't as bad as my back labor with my daughter. Then they didn't even let me stay in the room I had her in I was moved to a completely different floor and the room they moved me to was half the size. It was SO SMALL I literally cried and just wanted to go home. When you have a baby you want to feel comfortable where you are but that's the only bad about her in her hospital otherwise she's an awesome doctor.
Heather B. replied:
My actual doctor was James Patterson. I delivered at Baptist Women's. His brother works in the same practice with him and his name is Rushton Patterson. They are twins lol
Tiffany J. replied:
Dr Fileti in covington is absolutely amazing!!!!!!
Britney S. replied:
Dr. Filetti?
Shana C. replied:
Dr. Patterson hands down his brother also delivered my babygirl but I didn't know any different lol twins for sure! And delivered at st fransis Bartlett LOVED the hospital! Also had ten care!
Britney S. replied:
St. Frances?
Bobbie G. replied:
I think Moga does 373 9221
Madison L. replied:
Culbreth is amazing I just didn't like the hospital she delivered at. St. Francis park. It's old very old so the rooms aren't that nice. I loved St Francis bartlett so I changed doctor the last pregnancy to Dr. Patterson he delivers at Bartlett or Bapt ist Womans. Which are the nicest. But I would only recommend him to people who have already had kids. He's a good doctor but he wouldn't be good for a first time parent. Which your not so that doesn't matter lol
Ok my old coworker recommends Dr. James Patterson. She says that he is very good.
Mia M. replied:
Dr. Patterson's ratings are bad.
Ace M. replied:
If it is a high-risk pregnancy in any way (or she is seeking initial care in 3 rd trimester), I always recommend the Med. The Med can also get her hooked into Centering Pregnancy, and I have only heard good things about that program. I have also recently heard good things about Dr. Kennedy at Baptist East (which is where yours truly was born!). Hope that helps!
Mia M. replied:
Latabitha Wilkins
Melissa S. replied:
Dr Duncan-Cody delivered Isabel and Dr Deidrea Grandberry delivered Charlotte. I would recommend either of them.
Good afternoon everyone. PLEASE I need your help. I took a lady to the Hospital Friday night with stomach pain. She already knew she has fibroids but she also has a...
Melissa M. replied:
The Church Health Center might be a good resource for this too. They might be able to at least provide a referral.
Donna L. replied:
They will see her in the walk in Clinic for $35 if she is uninsured (which you stated she was), needs immediate care and she must be there by 7 am. To be an established patient, there are requirements. I will post the link here. Good luck and will be praying. http://www.churchhealthcenter.org/patientrequirements
Debbie G. replied:
I belive it is Community Health Clinic on broad but they may have moved.
Bob H. replied:
The Church Health Center is the best place. They are tied in with the Methodist health system and U.T. They take walk ins. But for best service, one has to go through an orientation. I have been going there for years.
Kimberlee N. replied:
For a UTI, she can go to any health department clinic including Christ Community Medical Clinic. She does not need surgery for a UTI only sulfer drugs. Fibroids can remain if not causing a problem but if causing issues then a hysterectomy is in order - depending on the problem they cause, it could be deemed emergent. Planned Parenthood is sliding scale and can see her reguarding the fibroids but first things first, get meds for the UTI and get that under countrol.
Donna L. replied:
Also, they have an OBGYN clinic at the MedPlex if surgery is indeed what your friend needs. The Church Health Center and Christ Community are both for the uninsured and use a sliding fee scale but don't do surgery. In the past, if a doctor at either of these places feel surgery is needed, they send you to the Medplex.
