Either of the Docs at Cordova Vision Center. Dr. Dacus or Dr. Cox If you need an Opthamologist instead of an Optometrist, Drs Flemming or Litch at UT Group on Humphreys Blvd. Good luck.
Terri K. replied:
Mark Roudebush - been my doc forever. Next to El Porton on Dexter at G'town Pkwy - tell him I sent you.
Charlie Y. replied:
Tommy Coleman: He's mine. A dang fine musician as well.

I think my Dentist takes Delta. It's Audubon Dental Group on Colonial. Over by Target. I highly recommend them. They are awesome. So many eye doctors, it's hard to say who to go to. No clue about a Chiropractor.

Dr. Edwards for a dentist on poplar.

Dr. Carl flinn really knows his stuff
Madhura D. replied:
Kathryn Byrd!
Ted F. replied:
We referred to Dr. Byrd by our pediatrician. If you use her, let me know. We have to get the little girl's eye's checked too.
Aaron G. replied:
Hilary said Dr. Hidaji also comes to her clinic once a week. I dont think you can go wrong with either Hidaji or Byrd. I still think Dr. Hilary is the best but I am a little Biased. Good luck I hope you get it worked out.
Celina M. replied:
I was also drawn to Dr. Hidaji because of the gifts he gives to the less fortunate. I'm a sucker for those who reach out to the children!
Ann L. replied:
Yes yes yes! Fred Hidaji - he is across from Sharkys on Poplar.

Rick Alsobrook is a fabulous optometrist...but he's not an ophthalmologist.
Harriet T. replied:
I don't know of one in Germantown, but Subba Gollamudi is amazing and is known all over the country. I've had enough surgeries including a cornea transplant and my doctors in Chicago referred me to him. 825 Ridge Lake Blvd, Memphis. I'm a huge fan!

Hey Memphis friends, does anyone have an eye doctor in East Memphis that they recommend?
Ashley O. replied:
Dr. Gayso at total eye care. He's over by st. Francis hospital. Super nice & great! My family sees him!
Lisa H. replied:
Memphis Family Vision on Mendenhall is great!
Chris A. replied:
Dr. Don Gayso. He's great and he's methodist if that matters at all.
Stephanie S. replied:
I used the UT ophthalmology group (the location at GTown Rd and Wolf River). Dr. Litch was my doctor. If you decide to pay out of pocket up front, you get a 30% discount. I got a full eye exam for just under $100, as well as the 'scripts I needed to refill my contacts.
Brandon R. replied:
You can go to SCO in midtown and be seen by students. Optometry group at poplar and highland is good. Dr. Lee in Eastgate, Warren Johnson@Perkins extd., Memphis Family Vision on Mendenhall... I could go on forever...
Please recommend a good eye doctor and a place where I can get affordable but stylish eyewear - not Eclectic Eye. It costs me a kidney just to walk in their.
Audrey M. replied:
I love Dr. Tharp and recommend her highly! No muss, no fancy office -- just smart, attentive, incredibly competent care. Cannot say enough good things about her. Usually get the actual glasses at Sears when they are having a sale.:)
Wacky J. replied:
Sams Club
Joli W. replied:
I go to Linda Tharp too! She has a great selection of glasses
Dan B. replied:
The Eye Center at the Southern College of Optometry is where I go. their pretty great. They also have income based scholarships for your eyewear needs.
Mia M. replied:
MidSouth Vision on Poplar is where we go for exams. I found a frame there that I love. Also, VisionWorks is a pretty good deal too. Karim liked VW's frames better. Brian likes LensCrafters. If youre worried about insurance, try Walmart. You'll be surprised.
