ASU surpluss is a good place to check out especially during the summer. Won't be super awesome quality but pretty cheap furnishing especially for desks, tables, chairs, and sometimes a few couches.

Mesa Goodwills are picked over daily by professional shoppers and has actually gotten kinda expensive. :-) You may be better off looking at estate sales or craigslist. Lots of "for sale" groups on facebook also. And there's always Ikea for backup.

Goodwill redesign on superstition springs, nicer stuff. But still budget friendly. Edit: they also sell new mattresses.

I really like [Terri's Consign and Design](http://www.shopterris.com/) on Greenfield and the 60. Got a nice chair there and my boyfriend got his desk there. Prices aren't too bad and they have a pretty big selection.

Check out the local Swip-Swap and sale groups on Facebook. I regularly see decent furniture on there for cheap. I got my sofa on there for $20 since the guy was moving and the last buyer backed out, it's a really nice couch and surprisingly didn't smell or anything weird.

American Furniture Warehouse has great prices. We got most of our furniture from Pruitts and they were very reasonable also. (I think it is on Alma School)

American Furniture store, and they deviler and set everything up for like 50-70 bucks. and they give you a two hour window for delivery, so you don't have to wait the entire day for it.

American Furniture has great prices. But it is also cheaply made furniture. I do understand there is a market for that. When I was young I would have went there in a heartbeat. So it depends on where you are in life and how long you want your furniture to last.
