Paula S. replied:
Community Bark on Kinnickinnic is great. Our dog has done both - gone in for them to groom her and for us to do it ourselves.
Betsy G. replied:
Not in Bay View, but I used to go to Pampered Paws on Hwy 100. There is no one I would trust more with my dogs than LuAnn there. I would mention her name and they'd get excited.
Hello. Looking for a good dog groomer and a vet. Thoughts?
Annie W. replied:
Bay View Bark also has a vet who comes to do a vaccination clinic once a month. I ran the numbers and we saved $80 on a recent round of vaccinations. Next one is Aug. 17 th, 11-12:30. http://www.bayviewbark.com/Events.html

Embark and Community Vet....both places are the best!!
Kate F. replied:
Embark! Silver Spring Animal Wellness is a wonderful vet!
Erin Q. replied:
It's not Bayview, but Dr. Rosene at Shorewood Animal Hospital is fantastic. Worth the drive...he's passionate about animals and treats his patients as his own.
Meredith W. replied:
I like Gina at The Barker Shop. We had issues with Embark not trimming our dog's nail when they said they were and being charged for it.
Kate O. replied:
Embark is amazing- our dog is in and out within an hour- Gina at the Barker Shop is sweet but would take forever with our dog. Plus Embark always donates generously to our annual dog event in Bay View- Dog Day Afternoon. As for vets- we just switched to Silver Spring Animal Wellness- it's worth the 20 min drive! Dr. Dean is fantastic!

Madra for a groomer. Community vet clinic, Dr. Crowley.
Chris H. replied:
Vet: community if you're in Bay View another great one is Dr Amanda Stowell at Mayfair animal hospital
Katelin A. replied:
Animal Hut on KK and Dr. Tom at Community Vet Clinic on Chase.
Christine M. replied:
Community Vet on Chase, just don't use Dr. Inness. There is a groomer at my friends doggie day care - Pet University on Howell near the airport.
Kathleen D. replied:
Why not Dr. Inness?
Christine M. replied:
Its Dr. Thomas or Dr. Crowley. Both are amazing. Dr. Thomas owns the place.
Christine M. replied:
I didn't care for the way she dealt with my lab on one visit and wont use her again. b. I've heard before from several people she isn't as good as the others. I'm just used to Dr Thomas or Dr. Crowley.
Bob P. replied:
Embark is awesome, Community Vet. dr. Inness is good too. Doc Thomas, and Crowley have better people skills, but ALL are top notch vets.
Kathleen D. replied:
I love Embark, but they are always so booked up. The Barker Shop on Howell is good too.

Hi neighbors & fellow dog owners! :) I'm looking for somewhere to get my dog's nails clipped - they're getting really long and she's terrified of me cutting them. I'll...
Melissa W. replied:
We go to the Small Animal Hospital on North Ave and Newhall. They have the vet techs cut toenails, you just have to call and make an appointment. My dog is awful and she lets them do it with minimal complaining. It's like $15-20 bucks, I forget how much exactly. Definitely worth it though!
Melissa W. replied:
We have also gone to Bayview Bark. I think that was $10, but they do need your shot records if your dog goes there to play, so I'd assume same goes for any services.
Question... Does anyone know of a good/experienced cat groomer? She is a super fluffy lady and needs a lion cut due to chronic hairballs. Thanks for any recommendations!
Sandra D. replied:
Paula Dally at Pampered Paws near Mayfair.
Miranda P. replied:
Our twins are Maine Coon/Persian mixes. We take them to Bayshore Veterinary (their regular vet) for haircuts. If your cats are scrappers they can offer anesthetic.
