Hello friends! Can anyone recommend a geek-friendly personal trainer who can help with form, equipment, and plans for a non-gym-based strength-training regimen?
Sarah B. replied:
Not a personal trainer at all, http://geekintoshape.com and http://www.nerdfitness.com are pretty decent -- they've got some geek-themed workouts. I've also seen some Netflix-bssed workouts (workout while you binge watch) that might give you some good at-home workouts.
I'm looking at Security Cameras mounted on my home. Does anyone have any sugestions, brand names, installation? Something I can check from my iPhone when away?
Daniel R. replied:
I like Vivint. They have complete systems that will even remotely lock your door for you if you forget. http://www.vivint.com/en/

Micro Center is my fav computer store...probably make a trip there this week. I am looking for a system not tied into cable or land line service bundling crap. I do not have cable. I wonder if USI Wireless offers something.
Sheryl S. replied:
Linda, I would recommend buying cameras online from x10. My husband can help you set up a system. http://www.x10.com/homepage.htm

Andrew T. replied:
Ax Man surplus has a few of the small ones sometimes. Honestly though, when it comes to hobby magnets, I haven't had much success finding them in retail stores. Amazingmagnets.com on the other hand has every size magnet you'll ever need and for pretty reasonable prices.

Thanks again everyone for the thoughtful and diverse suggestions for future books to read. I've started a list some I've already placed a hold on to check out when my turn comes up. After looking each title up on overdrive to see which if any was available for immediate check out, finding all of them had a waiting list, a testament to their popularity, I bought Gone Girl on amazon.com.
