We call them rockets here.

Well, while we’re at it, is there a place where one can buy Allsorts liquorice in bulk? My father is very fond of those, and I am already thinking about his Christmas present…

If you're willing to drive across the border to Vermont, there's a shop I know there that carries the Mega rolls. I go over every month or so. If you want, i'll look for them next time and, if they have a box for a reasonable price, (they sell them for .99 a roll) i'll pick you up a box.

Have you checked at any candy shops? While they might not carry them, they might be able to order them from you.

Call a local candy store, tell them you want this type of candy and you're willing to buy X amount for Y dollars. They might add it to their collection.
