Hi everyone just wondering if there is anyone on here that has had acupuncture to help bring on labour? I'm not from the area so not sure of any places if anyone can...

Trudi at Acupuncture Heretaunga in Havelock is fabulous. Nothing worked to bring on my labour though! Was good to relieve the aches, pains and stresses of a twin pregnancy

Trudy R. replied:
Talk to Amy Vaughan, she is a midwife and qualified to do acupuncture on preggy ladies x
Nicki L. replied:
I do maternity reflexology, which works on a similar principle to acupuncture. Great for reducing stress as well, so even if you do need to be induced your body is more relaxed and it's not so tough. I have clinics in Napier and Hastings :) https://www.facebook.com/bayreflexology/

Rebecca Heyward from independent mindwifes on Kennedy rd. Highly recommend she is amazing and very experienced in all types of births. I am a first time mum and i know a few midwives who weren't comfortable with me giving birth in the napier birthing unit. She had no probs with it and was awesome!
