I recently adopted a young dog from the NH Animal Rescue League in Bedford. Can anyone recommend a responsible overnight pet sitter? The boarding places I've contacted...

I can't say enough good things about D La Pooch in Hooksett. Small, individual type care and very attentive to my anxiety about leaving my baby for 2 nights!

Country club kennels 125 Hollis rd 673 7710. We have used them for the past 5 years. They bend over to help both you and your dog. Very reasonable.

We use hollywood hounds for boarding now, but when we used to have multiple dogs we used Granite State Pet Sitting. Holly is great with the pets at home. I highly recommend both.

American K9 country in Amherst is great. Good price, excellent staff, and they have webcams so you can see your puppy running around
Hey facebook friends with dogs.....can anyone recommend a good place to kennel my dog Pippin for a week while we vacation?
Terry W. replied:
Salty Claws is great. And there is always someone on sight at night. I bring my dog there.

If you haven't gone, you must try Billy's Chowder House (Wells), the Maine Diner (Wells) and Cafe Amore (Ogunquit). Wherever you are in Maine, enjoy your vacation!
Pet boarding or sitter? Thoughts suggestions recommendations....
Dez L. replied:
OK. If someone is going to be home to let a sitter in, I would suggest finding someone on care.com I'd offer to take her here, but I don't think the roommates would like that too much If you go to board her, I've had amazing luck at the Petco pet hotel. They take really good care of Lydia and you have the option to buy add ons like extra treats and extra play time.

We used to board at The Barking Dog (hooksett location) and loved them. I'm not being hyperbolic, however when I say that their room and board cost more than ours on that first trip (a real dive). We generally have friends or family housesit these days and I think it works out well for all parties.
Hi friends! Please welcome Jeremy Downing, recently moved from Ohio. He's looking for recommendations for veterinarian's, pet boarding and other services.
