Symmetry did mine in one week for like $80. They are super great and very trustworthy.

Quartersmith in the FQ. The guy was kind of a jerk to me but he's highly recommended.
Any recommendations for a jewelry store for antique/vintage engagement rings?

Just walk down Royal Street. After Hotel Monteleone there are probably a dozen antique and jewelry shops. I got my wife's at Keil's Antiques and they were great.

A friend of mine, Ashley Brodie, is a jewelsmith. She works out of her garage, so her rates are significantly lower than jewelers with brick and mortar stores. If you're interested I can PM you her info.

We used Aucoin Hart. They have a stock selection but also an amazing custom jeweler who did a wonderful job recreating an antique setting for my wedding band.

We used Aucoin Hart. Same deal— had the main stone and knew what setting we wanted, but not where to find it. I am very happy with them.

Every one of my pieces is custom (I have a thing for tanzanite), and Adam at Adler's in Metairie is our guy. Super down-to-earth and surprisingly affordable prices. He really takes the time to get you what you want regardless how small or big the budget is. At this point, we've purchase engagement and wedding rings, two sets of earrings and a pendant - all were custom expect my engagement ring.
