Rick Meyer at Touro Infirmary - fixed my knee and sent me to an awesome physical therapist. Rehab post surgery is essential. My other two surgeons are now retired. After three knee surgeries, your physical therapist is essential . . . the post surgery work is critical.

Lance Estrada is the best! He repaired a torn meniscus in my right knee several years ago and did a fantastic job!

I had my back surgery at Bone & Joint Clinic on the West Bank. My friends dad's practice. They're all so nice and their nurses made me feel very comfortable before/during/after. I think Dr. Habetz is their knee specialist.

Hey! Looks like you have a ton of good recs, but I'll just throw this out there since Andrew worked with these guys when he was doing his sports fellowship with Ochsner. Misty Suri and Scott Montgomery are both great orthopods and Andrew said he'd recommend them for knee issues. Hope you get it figured out soon!

Dr Answorth Allen at HSS here in NYC is one of the best anywhere. I've sent 6 pro-athletes and many other athletic people to him w rave reviews. I know it's not NOLA but if it is for someone athletic you should seriously consider him

I'd go to Scott Montgomery at Baptist or Mark Meyer at O main campus. If you have to go to Tulane Dr Sanchez is total joint. I don't know the new sports medicine guy there but Van Sice was a resident when I worked there. You can always lookup reviews on healthgrades
