There was a huge advertisement in the bee in August that Isgut had joined Dr. Freidmans practice located on South Main in the building with the blue dome.

Maureen Engel is great. She is an APRN. Dr. Afshar is no longer seeing patients in the practice. He is only working in the Vein Center.

I love-love-loved Afshar and I'm sorry he's not GPing anymore. I did not like Isgut at all but I have only seen him once in the 10 years I was in the practice. Maureen Engel is absolutely wonderful, thorough, sincere. I have not been happy with the front end staff on and off and even stormed out of the office yelling last time I was there (uncharacteristic of me), but Maureen is absolutely worth staying for. Be prepared to wait once you're there for your appointment. They are really bad at keeping on schedule. And bring a book. The magazines selection is poor and at least last time there was no wi-fi. They moved from the brick building on Church Hill to the new wooden one set back off the same road but closer to 84. I don't know if Isgut has moved again since.

My husband and I see Dr. Friedman and his APRN Cheryl Rosenthal and have been very happy with them. Can get in for appts no problem and they are very thorough and knowledgable.

I LOVE Maureen Engel in Dr Isgut's office. She's a nurse practitioner. If you're looking for a physician, I really like Dr Afshar in that office.

Can't say enough about Jim Ahern and the 3 other doctors in his practice. The only down side is they are in Ridgefield. I have seen them for about 20 years. Of course, they really got to know me when I had kids.
