Halverson is not am pediatrist. Their is only a guy in Ojai and its 50 cash to meet him and expect to be on hold for at least 10-15 min when you call. I ended up going with Dr Chronis in Ventura. Drive sucks but is is the best pediatric Dr I could ask for. I really recommend him.

I go to coastal pediatrics in Ventura. We see Dr. Blank or Dr. Pecht. Both are very nice and helpful

DO NOT go to Dr Williamson! We paid for a meeting w the dr before I even had my daughter and they said they accept my insurance. After 4 months of visits they realized they don't take my plan and sent us a $2200 bill! We're loving Dr. Halverson and Dial

Love Maria Halvorson. My girls have gone to her since 6 th and 7 th grade. Not sure how young she goes, or how old your kids are, but if you are in that ballpark you should consider her.

Dr Williamson was my kids' pediatrician 30-odd years ago and we loved him. Now if I had a kid, I think I'd go with Dr. Horn or Dr. Petroff at Valley Oak Family Medical.

I recommend the books of Barry Neil Kaufmann, particularly "Son-Rise" (about his work with his own autistic son, who is now a college graduate), to people who have autistic children. I have trained with him and his wife, and they do amazing work. They are located in Massachusetts, but it would be worth a call or email to The Option Institute for more information about outreach to distant families. <3

Last time I checked Kawasaki wasn't taking new patients, but that was about a year ago so that may have changed! But I have heard great things... and I wasn't a fan of Surfside to be honest. We currently see Dr. Margaret Peterson in Ventura, she's a GP. I don't have any complaints.
