I understand being scared and I wish I had Dr info for him. This may be an option, if he has a semi open minded family dr to sign a finatual assestance form for him, NutraMedix offered The Cowden protocal for 1 patient per Dr for arround $100.00 per mo and he could at least be slowing progression and start healing with out having a llmd, or paying for dr visits. It is a lot of treatment for not much money I hope this helps.
