I need an optometrist in Omaha. Who do you recommend?
Dawnna H. replied:
We go to Millard Family Eyecare as well... Dr. Michaels!
Rick K. replied:
I am with Shawnna. We've been using Millard Family Eyecare for years and I haven't fine blind yet.
DeeDee U. replied:
Dr Geist at Midwest Eye Care 132 & California. She is great
Mandy W. replied:
Exclusively Eyecare on 132 and Dodge. It's Dr. Wolfe and his son. I see Dr. Wolfe and Macey sees his son (also Dr. Wolfe). They are both great! I have been going there for years. The younger Dr.Wolfe just won and award for the best young optometrist in Nebraska. Highly recommend them both! Plus the son is kind of cute so eye candy is a bonus!
Mary H. replied:
We've been happy with Millard Eyecare. We see Dr. Weiss.
Nicole asks, "Looking for a optometrist for my 5 year old. Has anyone had a good experience with a certain one or have by recommendations?"
Emily S. replied:
We use Dr. Grange at Bellevue Optical. I've been very happy with him. He listened to my concern and didn't brush it off because it sounded weird. Turns out I was correct. Love that he always remembers our family when we come in.
Emily S. replied:
We were also very happy with Dr. Troia. My daughter had clogged tears ducts that didn't fix themselves so she had to have them unclogged when she was 1. Dr. Troia was very patient and we were pleased with the outcome. Since she doesn't have any major issues we use Dr. Grange for our yearly exams.
Audra L. replied:
Sebastian Troia is awesome! He has been seeing my 7 yr old since he was 18 months. He also did my son's eye surgery 2 yrs ago. He also checks my youngest's eyes for free when I bring him.
Brooke N. replied:
Dr Trioa is great
Shannon T. replied:
Omaha Primary EyeCare!
Laura H. replied:
We love love love Dr. Mindy Dickinson at Midwest Eye Care. She is fabulous with all four of my kids (ages 9, 5, 4, and 2) and I wouldn't take them anywhere else. She's got two young kids of her own so she's used to working with little ones:). Our four year old has some vision problems and she's been absolutely fabulous with him.
Jaime J. replied:
Dr Troia by Westroads!
Rene P. replied:
Dr. Suh at Childrens! He is wonderful! SO friendly; took his time with us; explained my daughter's eye difficulties in a way I could understand and even briefly checked out my older son's eye to make sure he didn't have the same problem.
Omaha P. replied:
Dr Troia is an ophthalmologist, aka eye surgeon and cares for severe injuries and diseases. A lot of parents till take their kids there but they are extremely busy and it's a long wait to get in. An optometrist is fine. For Your Eyes Only in west omaha is good, so is Aksarben Eye Care and Bellevue Optical. Source: I used to be an optician. ~Katie
Christin M. replied:
Dr Marie Schaaf at University Optical Village Pointe. 4025964600
Abigail asks: Does anyone know of any optometrists that are good with kids that accept United Healthcare HAWK-I in Omaha or CB?
Rosemary W. replied:
My husband is an optometrist for Midwest Eye Care in Bellevue. He's awesome with kids! He says MEC does accept United but to call just to be sure your specific vision plan is covered 552-2020
Does anyone have an eye doctor/optometrist they take their child to that they really like in Omaha? I need to take Olivia in for an eye exam. I really like my eye...
Poe N. replied:
We've seen Robert Troia for years with Elena and like him.
Staci R. replied:
Millard Family Eye Care
Brandon R. replied:
Millard Family Eyecare has my vote!
Yiota A. replied:
I saw Dr Robert Troia too! He has a brother I think Sebastian.
