I'm looking for a gym that does boot camp/strength & conditioning. I live downtown and work in winter park. I'd even be up for hiring a trainer to come to my apartment...

https://www.orlandobjj.com/ One of the best guys in the world runs this school, can't go wrong here. Gracie Barra North Orlando is another top school here. I'd seriously consider one of these two places. https://www.northorlandobjj.com/ I'm a member of GB, pm me if you want more details.

There are quite a few options around town for jits, as with most things I'm sure it will depend on where you'll be living\working and how far you're willing to travel.

The best gym is the one you go to the most. There’s a bunch of good gyms around and I would drop in at a few to see which vibe you like and has the best schedule and distance from where you live/work. That’s way more important than having a slightly better instructor at your stage. That said, I go to Orlando BJJ and will vouch for it hard. Our head instructor is going for his 10 th world championship at black belt this weekend which is more than anyone in history. Nowhere else has anyone like him.

Can't offer any advice for the gyms, but I recently made the jump from PA to Orlando. What part of PA are you moving from?

I use to go to [Orlando Barbell](https://goo.gl/maps/1DtuybLb9Rn) when I lived on the east side and it's a legit bodybuilder's gym. They have cardio too. Biggest bonus is it's 24 hours so I'd go after work from 12-2 am and usually be the only person in there. I got ripped in 6 months and I'm pissed that I don't have something like that where I live now.

What kind of gym are you looking for? Just a place to lift/do cardio?

[I used to go here](http://www.truestrengthorlando.com/). A friend of mine opened it up and it was an awesome place to lift.
Is there such a thing as a gym right on the beach in Florida? Or like a squat rack kiosk where I can squat or deadlift under a frikkin palm tree? I'll be near Orlando...
