39 years ago when I first hooked up to cable it was a good deal. 2 - CBS 4 - NBC 5 - Metromedia Television 6 - Reuters News (printed) 7 - ABC 8 - ABC (neighboring market) 9 - RKO Television 10 - NBC (neighboring market) 11 - WPIX New York 12 - CBS (neighboring market) 13 - PBS In May 1977, this package cost $10.00 Add HBO on channel 3 for $10.00 more In January 1980 the following was added for $5.00 more 16 - CNN 17 - Nickelodeon (7AM - 8PM) ARTS Alpha Repatory Television Service) (8PM - Midnight) SuperstationWTBS (Midnight - 7AM) 18 - ESPN 19 - USA (5PM - Midnight) Off Track Betting (Midnight - 5PM) 21 - Cinemax (for $8.00 more) The prices were quite reasonable in those days. A year later Showtime was added for $8.00 more
I think this was discussed not too long ago, but does anyone in the neighborhood have any kind of Internet service other than bright house or AT&T U-verse?
