Rover.com - you can find someone who will stay in your home, make home visits throughout your trip, or take your pet into their home. I personally prefer the housesitting option so my mail gets checked, lights get turned on, etc - and I think the dogs prefer it too. :)

As far as pulling on the leash, I HIGHLY recommend the gentle leader. My sisters have used it on their border collie and Doberman and I use it on my Springer spaniel. Works wonders. I typically board at Northwind Animal Hospital, and I have never had an issue and often recommend their services. But they are booked up for dates I need in September....

Just an fyi Best Friends Furever has had alot of dogs come in my job with alot of kennel cough...i work at a vet. I hear good things about Hereford Bed and Biscuit
