Dr. Geoffrey Conner at D1 Sports is great. His main office is by Brookwood, but he comes to Northside once a week.

Dr. Ellerbuch at Southlake Orthopedics. He's amazing!! And I actually did take my youngest son to him for a broken elbow. We left St Vincent kids ortho to use Dr. Ellerbuch. They are on Hwy 17 in Pelham though so not Pell City. They handle a lot of sports ortho needs there. And if Ellerbuch can't see you there are 12 others in the same practice:)

Dr. Cowley with Birmingham Orthopedics Sports & Spine.. He comes to Northside on Thursdays.. His office is at Grandview. 205 592 5000. Dr. Lemak is with this group as well. He has taken excellent care of my family members and myself. Prayers to you for a speedy recovery..

Dr. Geoffrey Connor D1 Sports Medicine is doing my surgery Wednesday 1/6/16. He has done all 3 of my dads surgeries & several of my friends also. He is amazing and fast! I called on 12/14 for an appt. I decided I could wait until he came to Northside & saw him on the 17 th. My work schedule only allowed me to go for my MRI on 12/23 & I chose to set my surgery for the 6 th. He could've done everything so much faster if my work schedule hadn't been an issue!!

Dr. Lauren savage trussville Al. You will not find a better doctor......

^ Those guys are great. Meyers is one of the best but has the personality of a sock. Dr C is excellent and a very nice guy. I used to work for them.

Dr. Russell Linton at Columbus Orthopedic group innColumbus Mississippi. Yes I know it is a smaller town than some that are closer. However I have seen the work of this man up close for many years. I worked in the or with him. He has had patients travel from all over the us to see him. Pro athletes see him. He goes to combine almost every year. He is a team doctor for Mississippi state.

Dr. David Dueland. He has helped so many people in my family! He's actually operating on my knee Monday. I didn't believe how awesome he is until I met him and read all the good reviews online. He's always booked for surgery and is good at what he does! Only downside is that he's in Cullman, AL, but I've been driving it and it's not that far. Good luck!:)

Dr Conner did my knee surgery and I would recommend him to anyone needing ortho ... great dr.. and great staff.... he actually listens to you as a patient

I have been seeing Dr. H. Siegel for years. He is located at UAB Highlands in Birmingham. He did both of my hip replacements with a minimum invasive approach that left me with a scar that is smaller than 3 inches and is also helping me decide what to do about my elbows. It can be difficult to get an appointment with him but he is worth the wait.

Siegel doesn't do elbows. I worked for him. Dr Meyers and Dr Chaudhari at UAB Highlands are excellent. (as in work on football players for Alabama good. As in starters for Alabama good) Dr Dewey Jones IV from Brookwood did my son's knee surgery (also a college football player) and did a fabulous job.

Andrews Sports medicine. They repair professional ball players elbows. Do trust anyone else.

Andrews Sports Medicine in Birmingham is the best. My son broke his collarbone and had to have surgery. Best there is.

Dr. Robert Sorrel at Brookwood

Dr David Lemak. At Grandview Medical. Pro athletes come to him. He just repaired my husbands knee when 2 others said it had to be total replacement.

Lyle Cain at Andrews. You can see physician bios on their page. Sports injuries. One of his specialties is elbow.

Dr Worthen he comes to the hospital once a week

Andrews sports medicine. ST vincent Bham. I had hip replacement in june and knee in november. Dr Jeff Davis with that group did both of them.

I used Dr Cobb at St Vincent East in Birmingham. He's really good

Any doctor at Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center of Alabama is excellent. Dr. Gilmer did a fantastic job on my surgery and multiple other doctors there have been a phenomenal help to me and my mother.

Dr Timothy Cool. He studied under the best dr that there was in Birmingham. When he retired, this is who he sent me to. St. Vincent's East. Bldg.52. 2058383090

Dr Cobb comes to Pell city on Friday. He's great!

For back and neck surgery, I would highly recommend a neurosurgeon rather than a regular orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Okor and Dr. Mark Hadley at UAB are tops!
