L: Yes - Dr Saba treated me at Pivet after my egg retrieval (ohss) then became my obstetrician. He delivered my daughter (3 in July) and was absolutely the most pleasant practitioner in the fertility clinic I used to call a meat market. If I were to have another child, he'd be the one I'd go to. His ultrasound machine was dated, but that was 3-4 years ago, so perhaps he's upgraded since. Dr Baruah was actually my fertility specialist, but I chose Dr Saba for ongoing care. My c-section scar has healed very well and his aftercare was faultless. He applied to become accredited at Mercy in Mt Lawley just for me, as I didn't want to have my daughter anywhere else. All the best x

R: you could try contacting the Women's Council http://www.womenscouncil.com.au/donations.html
Natalee C. replied:
In regards to the women's refuge yes they are confidential to prevent often violent partners turning up in the middle of the night and causing more dramas. Please do not take things to your local police I can say with some experience we are very busy at those places if you get my drift and property is a nightmare for police - transparency. Lucy Saw Centre in Rockingham is a good place to call they may be able to direct you to a donation point that then forwards on to refuge. I think it is really great people want to help but unfortunately it can be tricky due to privacy.

HI You dont need a gp referral, but you can ask for a care plan which will allow you to 5 sessions at a reduced rate and medicare cover the rest. Tamika at funtalk is great. http://www.funtalk.com.au
Allison S. replied:
I had the same issue. if my GP referred me there was an almost two year waiting list. so I tried to go private but I couldn't find one that as even their waiting lists were closed. I tried again with the private sector 6 months later and found plenty now seem to have immediate openings. I am using "NExt Challenge" in Osborne park and have been happy with them so far. Viva also have spots free,
Sarah J. replied:
Hi yes a referral is needed and u can be on a wait list for a while via public, there are great ones via private (health cover should help mainly if u have it) check with your health nurse as well they may help further otherwise try http://pspawa.com.au/ good luck hope it all works out for u & your child!
