You could go up into Pisgah and camp for free. It would be primitive just depends on what you want. Check to see if The Reeb ranch is set up yet. I know it was in their plans for the ranch.

I just looked...... depending on the # of folks, The Bike Farm would be hard to beat if renting one of their own set ups ($100 a night/sleeps six.) Primitive is $35 a night. Turkey Pen is off the back of their property and a lot of their own trails too.

The Bike Farm is only one turn off of Sutton Creek then a gravel road to the set up.

Cascade Lake Campground has day rates and longer. In the summer they are always booked up. As long as the weather is still good I would recommend calling well ahead of time.
