Kidney stones, ovarian cyst AND a urinary tract infection...ugh the pain! Anyone know of a good gynecologist who is affiliated with Jefferson Regional Medical Center,...
Sheila N. replied:
Last I knew, they had an office in Brentwood Towne Center, one number I have is 412-283-0110. I have UPMC now, so I had to break up with them and go back to Greater Pgh. :( If you go there, tell them I said "Hi!"
Babs S. replied:
Dr. Logan a newby with Dr. Campbell is great 412-267-6280, gonna try them myself
Sheila N. replied:
David Badway may still be with Greater Pgh, if that helps.
Jana G. replied:
OMG Sheila, that would be awesome! Dr. Roperti delivered Ashton and did my partial hysterectomy and I love her! I forgot they went to West Penn, and yes it is affiliated with Jefferson.
Sheila N. replied:
I'm pretty sure Dr. Roperti was part of the crew that jumped.
Jana G. replied:
Chelle', I'm off work tomorrow. But most of your people are UPMC affiliated, aren't they? But if you can e-mail me, that would be great. My address is janagru67@gmail.com
Kimberly K. replied:
I have gone to Dr. Gentile for many yrs and he is now w/Jefferson. He is the best . . . he did my partial and I've gone 2 him since my early 20 s . . . the ex's wife told me about him and I went to him and stayed with him.
Kimberly K. replied:
AZO is the over-the-counter med. for UTIs and drinking cranberry juice. If the pain gets too bad . . . go to the ER so you can@least get an anti-biotic & start it for the UTI. As good as Dr. Gentile is, and he is, some times there is a wait to get in to see him, however, if you call the office & explain what is going on and you only want to see him . . . they will get you in.
Nancy L. replied:
Dr Carole Krupski was with Jefferson - I would travel from Tennessee to see her if at all possible.
Jana G. replied:
I'm going to make some calls today. I am hoping I can go to Dr. Roperti. But Dr. Gentile is my second choice.
Kimberly K. replied:
You have my word . . . you will never regret seeing Dr. Gentile. You know I come from a family of drs. & nurses and what I did for a living . . . so I'm very picky on my doctors:)
Kimberly K. replied:
I've gone there for mammograms & another prob. Dr. Gentil sent me for to get checked . . . they are wonderful there.
Evy N. replied:
For Kidney Stones i say Dr. Rosvanis at Jefferson- Love him
Jana G. replied:
No now that Shawn is back at Jefferson and through Allegheny Health Network I have to go through their doctors and their hospitals. I have an appointment with Dr. Roperti on October 7.
Evy N. replied:
Ok that makes sense. I know of Dr. Gentile he is wonderful.
Kimberly K. replied:
Dr. Gentile now practices out of Jefferson. I have not gone to Womancare Associates for years . . . Jana . . . I'm telling you he is totally wonderful!!!
Kimberly K. replied:
I'm doing well thanks Evy. We need to catch up soon please. I have been seeing Dr. Gentile since my early 20 s . . . I say to him every time I visit him he better not retire . . . he laughs and says I don't need to worry about that . . . so I'm a happy camper!!
Jana G. replied:
I liked Dr. Gentile but he delivered babies with my grandmother who has been retired for 30+ years.
Jana G. replied:
Thanks and I appreciate your opinion. I am happy that I get to see Dr. Roperti.
I am looking for a new OBGYN since my fabulous doctor is retired now. If you know of someone good (not need to be Latin doctor) but I prefer a male doctor. Let me know,...

Jennifer P. replied:
Dr Bulseco, in Waterdam Plaza.
Jennifer M. replied:
I go to seasons obgyn in waterdam. They delivered all 3 of my kids. It's a group of all women. Ost if them are our age and a little older. I truly recommend the entire group. I use Dr. Alvarado and Dr. Lebovitz mainly. They were apart of Magee but the entire group went over to the allegheny health system. They make you feel very at ease and comfortable.
Everyone has their opinion. I saw Wizda when I was pregnant w/ my last baby & really disliked her bedside manor. I've seen Dr Bulseco for the last 3 yrs & I love her.
Carole W. replied:

Michelle M. replied:
I am with that group now and the last time I had an appointment their staff treated me like garbage. Dr Brown is my Dr. She delivered my 3 children. But I am not going to take being treated like I am just another chart by their new office staff. So I am looking else where.
New to these parts, can anyone recommend a OBGYN and a Family doctor? Thanks
