Hey Ridge Runners, I'm looking for a physical therapist/ortho/sports medicine doc recommendation. I miss running with y'all, but I'm still barely able to walk up stairs....

I went to Advantage physical therapy for a knee injury after a marathon. I was back running in four weeks. http://www.advantageptsp.com/

Hi Elizabeth, I'm not sure what kind of injury you have, but as far as ortho surgeons go, I hear great things about Dr. Lennon in Harrisonburg and Diduch in Charlottesville (Diduch specializes in knees). My roommate loved Advantage PT after her ACL repair... I hope you get well soon!
Kelly P. replied:
Advantage PT is very good
Stephen R. replied:
There is a Dr. Wilder at UVA in Charlottesville who actually wrote the textbook on running medicine.

I can also recommend Advantage PT. Bill Johnson did my PT after ACL surgery and went great. His staff is top notch!
