Tom welcome to the area and look forward to riding with you. There are several great shops in the area, but Bicycles Plus www.bicyclesplustx.com will offer you the best service after your purchase. Go see the boys at BP Allen they will get you hooked up and rolling in no time. You will get your PBA discount as well as free labor after your purchase for life. They are also a great supporter and sponsor of local racing and riding.

If you were “loyal” to the Giant brand, it may be because the geometry of the Giant brand fits you best. I know people that, after years of being content on one brand or another, changed to another company brand only to begin having hamstring or various other issues follow quickly. I suggest attempting to stay on a Giant bike since you know your body fits on it well. Plano Cycling and Fitness has a large selection of Giant products as well as the other major brands. Also, just like the perks other stores offer, the same benefits also accompany purchases at PC & F. Price points for any brand can be achieved with the different components that complete the frameset, so shopping the complete bike is worth a trip to the store. Plano Bicycling Association (PBA) has long been associated with the family owned PC & F, which just celebrated the store’s 40th anniversary in Plano. Obviously, the family feels a great community commitment to the growth of the cycling community, and is active at the local level supporting a more safe community for all cyclists. The owner does ride and race locally which shows his passion, commitment and knowledge of the sport. Visit them at http://planocycling.com/

The owner of Plano Cycling is an avid Cyclist. He's regularly out on PBA rides. Geoff Godsey (pro cyclist and Rep for Giant) also shows up on our rides. I'd go with Plano Cycling.
