Hi and welcome to Oak Cliff! I've had great luck with Craigslist for bikes. Especially if it's children who are still growing. As far as service Dallas Bike Works at Davis and Tyler provides friendly affordable help, plus you get a discount on parts/accessories if you ride your bike their! Have a great day!

I knew the brothers and Doris before they started there bike shop. They lived on Cushing dr. between Spruce High and 175. Gean and Doris lived 2 houses down from my brother. That was in the mid to late 60 s. I joined the Army in 68 . Jim and Jean had opened up a shop in the old DQ on Buckner and Scyene. I asked Gene to keep an eye out for a m bike for when I got out. He found a 1969 250 Husqvarna. Jim opened up a shop on Garland rd.later. Hope my memory hasn't failed me. We used to meet up on Saturday am. and ride to hwy. 360 and ride trails. The Isbells sponsored me my brother and a few more racers.
Recommend a Specialized bike shop in the area? Primarily ride mtb.
