Wondering or thinking she might have Fibro isn't helpful. She could have any one of similar diseases or disorders. Med treatment may be very different. She needs a Rheumatologist to diagnose if it is fibromyalgia. She'll need a referral from a GP for that. Google Kalgoorlie Nutritionist/Dietician & Rheumatologist - then ring a few - ask questions to determine how fibro friendly they are. Your sister can ask GP for referral to any- all of them. Her GP will want to test her for other autoimmune diseases or rule out similar disorders... Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, ME/CFS, MS ...etc. This will require blood/urine tests & possibly Ultrsounds & scans. Her journey to Kalgoorlie is just the beginning. The Fibromyalgia Support Network WA will be able to help her through this process with information, resources, advice, compassion, kindness & understanding. Any and all the support you can give your sister will be invaluable & a great kindness. Bless you both.

I have just looked at the list. I live in Kempsey. Can I please recommend that fellow fibros DO NOT see Dr Hussain. He is one of the local specialist physician who visit our hospital and when I have had to be in his care, he has dismissed my fibro history as well as my crps and tried to change my medication list. He is not a good dr and you may do more harm by seeing him. Admin, please remove if comment inappropriate.
