We went through 1 st Security Bank for our VA and would not recommend them (I hate to say that about a business too). As soon as the sale went through on our home, they sold out mortgage loan to a third party that we had never heard of. Now we pay to Caliber Home Loans in another state. I recommend keeping local, check their ratings, and ask to make sure your loan isn't sold to another company after the deal goes through.
