There is this place in Oceanside called Meta. They used to be called Sole, but recently did a reboot, even though they are crowded most nights with a huge following. My wife is a huge foodie who pretty much eats all kinds of meat. She cooks duck very often. Anyway, she says Meta has the best duck she's ever had.

Mirabelle in Stony Brook has a great duck option... Having had both dozens of times I'd definitely say better than Kitchen A Bistro (generally cooked a little better and some unique pairings like a cherry gastrique).
