I am a crazy lady and drove all the way from Poulsbo to Bremerton for preschool for my son--and I am SO thankful that I did! Sycamore Tree Preschool is an absolutely amazing place. My son is almost ten years old and still talks about his preschool years with warmth and love. It was 100% worth every minute of every drive. It is a gem of a preschool and nurtured my little boy every moment that he was there.

There is the Poulsbo Cooperative Preschool. http://www.poulsbocooppreschool.org. This is my fourth year at the school. We just moved to a great new location at Breidablik Elementary. Teacher Sue is a wonderful teacher and you have opportunities to get to know the other parents as well as the kids. I would also love to tell you more about our school. You can email me directly at info@poulsbocooppreschool.org or call us at 360-779-4104. Hope to hear from you.

Both my kids went to Kingston Co-op and loved it. So did I because of the friends I met through the co-op. You really get to know the other families. The co-op model involves parent to help keep tuition costs down, but has the added benefit of building a little community. My now 15 year olds' best friend is from the co-op, even though they went to different schools all up until highschool.

My kids attended the preschool through the NK school district. It is really cool because it combines typical developing kids and special needs kiddos so they can learn from each other. It was very affordable and my kids LOVED it. They have info on the nkschools.org website.

Not a pre-school, but a fun group where he could also get some time with other kiddos. Free group that has hikes, park playdates, and other events with kiddos and many during the week are in the 2-3 year age range. Events almost everyday all over Kitsap. : ) www.facebook.com/groups/hikeitbabykitsapcounty
