You can go to two places that I know of in your area one is the mayo clinic, and the other is Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. I just also thought about the Cleveland clinic. I live in Dallas and there's a specialist here but the name of Benjamin Greenberg. And you can call him and get a referral to someone in your area.

I have had TM since 2006 and I go to the Transverse Myelitis Center at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore MD. They are very knowledgeable there. My first Doctor there was Dr. Greenberg who unfortunately for me left and is now in Dallas. I'm in NJ. But I highly recommend Baltimore or Dallas.
Kelly M. replied:

I also go to Dr. Smith in Delaware. I'm type 2 diabetic. He is really, really good and very nice. He even opened the office late at night for me when I had a problem, and didn't charge me a cent. I love him. Message me if you want his number.

Not around Powell...but Dr. Devine...or Dr. Mackessey in Bexley at Grant Family Practice have been our doctors for over 15 years...and my niece's for 9. It's about 20 minutes to drive, but they are really great...they work with insurance and payments...and they all really care. It's worth the drive.
