A freind of ours goes to Skolka Sv Prokopa (http://skolka-nahoupacimkoni.webnode.cz/) and it seems to get good reviews. The location is excellent on the edge of the forest. It seems to have some link to the Waldorf school, but I don't know if that is official.

Neo Luxor, especially larger branches, has a lot of English books for all ages including children. When in doubt head to the one in Vaclavske Namesti. Also, I'd actually suggest ordering books from book depository. It ends up costing about the same, but delivered to your door in three or four days, without the hassle of searching around town for whatever titles you have in mind. Infinitely larger variety.
