If the person can come to Quincy, we have wonderful therapists who deal with grief. New Directions Counseling at Interfaith Social Services. Call Claire at 617-773-6203 ext. 12 and leave a message. We are not a religious organization and do all kinds of counseling. Most wonderful place I have ever worked in 45 years. We are T accessible.

Call Hospice of the South Shore at 781-624-7080. Ask for Nancy Jo Haberman, bereavement coordinator. Many bereavement support groups are offered and are open to the general public no need to have used our services to partake.

Maybe this group is still around: http://www.weymouth.ma.us/CMS200Sample/uploadedfiles/2012_Bereavement_Programs.pdf Or, she could ask a local funeral home to recommend a group. Or check with Quincy, South Shore, or Jordan Hospital. Hospitals often run all kinds of support groups.
