Another vote for Decathlon. I've got a pair of these, soft but sturdy, comfortable and warm. I've worn them nearly every day for a year and they are showing no signs of wear http://www.decathlon.co.uk/sibir-300-warm-wellies-id_8159856.html

For you van cages these are excellent. I bought them after recommendation and love them. But they are for laying on. You can pay up to £50 for them but really don't have to, I just googled them and found for 12.99. Although I've told so many people they've now sold out but there are other sites that sell them. http://www.gardenwildlifedirect.co.uk/scruffs-pet-noodle-dry-mat.html

I'd also recommend Le Chameaux. Lovely and comfy, Vibram sole with a good grip and they last for years. I'd also agree to avoid Hunters they are not the quality that they used to be- they wear out after only a few months but still come with a hefty price tag!
Billie T. replied:
Le Chameau - no contest!!! Well worth the hefty price tag!!!

I don't think any of them will take the dogs in their van with them, but they should be able to tow tour van with the dogs in the back. My clutch broke and despite Green Flag saying he could travel in the truck, the driver was a total **** and wouldn't allow it. Fai, had to stay in the boot on his own on the back of a flatbed lorry and get towed hone from Excel London:(
Jacky H. replied:
The Green Flag people we have had have always been very helpful. (Not that they allowed 5 dogs in the cab!) Like everything, it does depend on the people.
