Just Dogs Live is a lovely three day show at a good showground venue!
Linda N. replied:
If you look here all the agility shows are listed and whether they are kc or not. You would have to check schedules to see if they also have breed, if this years schedule is not out yet look at the archive for last years schedule. https://agilitynet.co.uk/clutch/shows.htm
Jill S. replied:
Hi Rachel, you don’t need to register your dog with the KC, you need at ATC number (authority to compete). You use the same number for both breed and agility. You can do it online. https://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/registration/authority-to-compete-atc/

Hi Rachel http://www.justdogslive.co.uk/?doing_wp_cron=1516106937.2871959209442138671875 The Just Dogs Live agility schedule will be out shortly. We are 3 days KC registered and we will be hosting agility Championship classes for large medium and small dogs on the Friday as well as an open agility show on the Saturday and Sunday. Championship breed show and lots of other dog related events see the JDL web page

Mine go to Ross-Lyne boarding kennels. I particularly like them because they have no outdoor runs as my dogs would get stressed with all the barking. https://www.facebook.com/rosslyneboardingkennels/

Has anyone ever tried to phone The Kennel Club? Did you ever get through or did you find like me that it is permanently engaged?
Jocelyn F. replied:
Argh I am losing the plot here! MYKC says it doesn't yet have details of my dogs and the email I just tried to send came back with this: Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently: mykc@thekennelclub.org.uk Technical details of permanent failure: Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain thekennelclub.org.uk by eu-smtp-inbound-1.mimecast.com. Not a agility question as such but hoping as so many people here also do obedience or are involved with training clubs, someone can help me.

Pat L. replied:
Pet Plan. Might not be the cheapest to start with but don't hype the price so fast.
Sue R. replied:
Pet plan is more expensive but you get what you pay for. Be careful with the supermarket ones and any underwritten by RSA they now limit which specialists your dog can see in the event they need it.https://www.bva.co.uk/News-campaigns-and-policy/Newsroom/News-releases/bva-and-bsava-respond-to-launch-of-RSA-pet-insurance-preferred-referral-network/

John Lewis
Jayne B. replied:
More than or John Lewis for me, fast payout, I got via bought by many and saved nearly half the direct quote for same policy
Sara H. replied:
Pet Plan - mainly because the policy is good and they won't put the price up because you have claims and annual increases are in line with inflation.
Pam E. replied:
Definitely Pet Plan. No problem at all - user friendly web site and prompt payment so far. Of course any insurer needs the right information to be able to process a claim. There's a reason why they're the market leader.
Susan B. replied:
We have had Pet Plan for years as dog and cat owners and breeders of cats. Unlike nearly everyone else, they cover dental. We have had no problems with payment for my current dog, who has allergies and has been on expensive medication and specialist care. Unfortunately, they are now imposing a surcharge on older animals, but at least they continue to insure them.
Katarina U. replied:
Pet Plan or NFU mutual, wouldn't touch Kennel Club or any of the supermarket or non specialists.

https://www.facebook.com/littlestarsdogtraining/?fref=ts Excellent trainer and she has experience of some German Shepherds already, but I have Boxers, also a large boned breed, and we do lots of foundation stuff with the young ones - ideal for puppies and young dogs so no strain on their joints. :)
