I need a recommendation on a vet/someone who can assist me with my dog. We know she has an ear infection but im having a hard time justifying a $500 trip to the vet....

We use Pakenham too, and they charge $60 for the exam and about $15-$20 for the prescription. You could also try Dr. Bob Georgeson...the Mobile Vet. He is an amazing gentleman, knows his stuff cold and comes right to your house. Here's his contact...HIGHLY RECOMMEND! http://westottawavet.com/about_us.html

I use Pinnacle Animal Hospital, my puppy had to go in for her last vaccine but I also thought she had an ear infection. When I took her in on Saturday, they did a microscopic ear examination which cost 35, and her ear medicine was 30. The vets are amazing here, I highly recommend them.

My dog had an ear infection last year . Pinnacle charged me 54$ visit fee and $14 for the prescription. 613-433-3100. I recommend them.

Pinnacle Animal hospital. The appointment fee is $50. They have been great with our dog who is chronically ill. We lived throughout the Province and have seen many vets. They are honest and caring and have reasonable fee's. Lot's of ear trouble are fungal, dogs with floppy ears and who live water are proned to swimmers ear etc. But you should have a professional diagnose and you can purchase meds through Universal Pet meds if they are cheaper. Pinnacle will give you a script to fill where you want.

I heard of the vinegar water as well but Dr. Witham always advised to use the q-tips to get most of the gunk out first before put the liquid down or the liquid wouldn't get down properly. As yes gently massage the ear. I forgot that part.
So sorry for the short notice. Is there any dog groomers out there that could shave my boarder collie on Monday? I found some lumps on him and thought it would be...
