Videos are great. You cannot include artwork, it has to be academic. If you go to their site they tell you what you can include in the portfolio. I included 2 videos and 4 worksheets with my notes. http://www.davidsongifted.org/youngscholars/Article/Davidson_Young_Scholars___Frequently_Asked_Questions_381.aspx
Can anyone recommend a good psychiatrist/psychologist for anxiety?

Do you want a psychiatrist or psychologist? I know a ton of psychs in Reno
RenoMillenial replied:
Not exactly what you’re looking for, and I don’t have experience with her as a patient but I know Janet Amptman who’s an MFT personally and she is a cool ass down to earth lady in her personal life which is more than you can say for some psychologists/therapists/etc. She also does substance abuse counseling so she may hit the areas you’re looking for.

I’m also on the lookout for a good psychiatrist. My favorite so far has been Dr. Gunjan Lehil at Renown Behavioral. However, I don’t love Renown, so I want to avoid going there if at all possible.
Therapists I’ve liked:
Bobbi Nemovicher
Haley Hoffman
Brett Glanzmann (couples counseling only)
Therapists I recommend avoiding:
Janet Laxalt- a nightmare. She told me that my problems weren’t real, they were in my head and I just have to get over it. Uhm, yeah duh, that’s why I’m here?
I’m currently seeing Celia Zisman and I’m on the fence about her. Enough time has not yet passed for me to make a judgement call.
Anxiety is a byproduct of the borderline personality disorder I see these kind folks for. The ones I liked but no longer see I graduated from, and left on good terms.
I saw Dr. Rich Philip for meds once and didn’t feel comfortable at all. If anyone has any suggestions for psychiatrists I’m all ears. Borderline can be tricky and I need someone who really knows their stuff.
Reno types if you've had any experience w/ a psychologist ( not psychiatrist, clinical/ social worker, or pa) please message me the contact info referral. Best would be...

Adam, after I witnessed a plane crash and was with the paramedics first-on-scene, I got very good PTSD counseling from a psycologist in Truckee, Dr. Anita L. Spencer, who specializes in such things.
